With the waxing moon starting to generate 'heat' and Mabon upon on us, things are definitely getting a bit spicy. Mabon is the Autumnal Equinox - when day and night are equal and we start to prepare for the cold winter. Yes we are literally entering into the darkness, which is daunting, but don't forget the tectonic shifts happening beneath our feet and in the stars above. Celebrate abundance and trust that there's enough of everything to last through the winter.


 


Mindful Mantra

As a mother, as a woman, as the primary caretaker, you are the whole world. If you are a woman, your womb is the cauldron. If you are the primary caregiver, your brain receptors are calibrated as Master Protector. You are the universal rhythm of your world.


Place your feet on the ground, imagine a string from the the heart of Mother Earth, up through your feet, through your tail bone and up into your heart. Keep the string extending up and up through your skull to the sun. Every time you walk, you step to the same pulse as the Earth. You are the universal rhythm.




 

Love Meditation

Magic Carpet Yoga


We love our dogs at Peace Place so this pose has a special place in our hearts. Dogs have been particularly important companions during these challenging times and we can't leave them out of any appreciations. Plus, this calming yoga pose is a great place from which to appreciate the world and gain new perspective (upside down!).

As things turn autumnal, it's time to spice things up. This week, we offer a recipe from a very witchy woman, Lisa Lister. We love her book Witch, Unleashed. Untamed. Unapologetic. as it's basically a foundational text to learning all things witch and rebranding the traditional 'scary' nomenclature for optimal accessibility.
